And I'm here to tell you that, like Baseball Pro's, the last game in the Quattro Sports game has enough content to carry an article all by itself (if your definition of an article is loose enough). So, again let me ask:
Anyone for tennis?
Or, more specifically, any oddly-proportioned bug-eyed smiley man with frizzled hair and sweatband for tennis?
What -- it has a "Help" screen?
And once again, this unlicensed multicart game puts many
licensed mini-game cartridges to shame by actually telling you how to play the damn thing.
(Also after the Help screen, it goes to a 'demo' match where you get some practice).
But when you choose the 1 Player game, it's off to tournament play;
This has some ups and downs:
...you'll repeatedly 'fault' while trying to serve
(and in this way, it's a fairly good Simulation of learning tennis)
Then, maybe you'll get some nice volleys going,
AND there's the adorable "Heart" symbol to represent 0 (a.k.a. "LOVE", in tennis vernacular!).
But the best thing about tournament play...
YOUR GOOFY OPPONENTS!
